These games are usually takes on if not direct ports of classic titles that most gamers would be familiar with.Generally speaking Xbox is not designed for hard core gamers, but rather for casual players.There are several fun and exciting games availble through Xbox arcade, but Im going to look at some of my personal favorites.

Doom is first on my list.On September 27th 06 Doom became available for Xbox live arcade. This was one of my favorite games when it came it out and it is still loads of fun today.Go on a killing blasting demons in the multi player classic first person shooter. This game literally defined an entire genre and generation of games that came after it.It is still very challenging and very high on the replay value.

Cooperative play Defender is next up on my memory list.What really brings me back to my ealier game days are classics like Dig Dug, Double Dragon and any of the other Coin-op games. And original and true side scroller spaceship game this game is seriously as addictive now as it was then.You can spend hours of flying and shooting when the complex challenges of the more recent games get to be to much.

Buku Sudoku is the last one up.Three hundred and sixty variations of the Sudoku puzzle game will give you hours of fun. A true thinking man’s game this one will again keep me busy for hours on end as I try to get through the different maze of puzzles.
